THE SAD REALITY

It took me years to see that my situation affected more than me. I used to be like, ‘I am the one who has a 40 year sentence – not my friends or family.’ I’ve learned, though, that EVERYBODY around me was feeling the sting of my fool-hearted decision. I now know that it’s me, AND those that love me, that has to do time! It’s a sad reality.
